Aspen Management Partnership for Health

The Aspen Management Partnership for Health (AMP Health) works with ministries of health (MoH) in Sub-Saharan Africa to build capacity for effective leadership & management practices and serve as a conduit for relevant private sector know-how and resources, with a focus on supporting the scale up of community health worker (CHW) systems. Main program components include:



AMP Health currently operates in Kenya, Malawi and Sierra Leone, with plans to expand into additional countries. Partner organizations include the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, GlaxoSmithKline, Horace W. Goldsmith Foundation, Margaret A Cargill Foundation, Merck & Company, the Office of the United Nations Special Envoy for Health, Sall Family Foundation, and USAID.


Position Description 

The Partnerships & Communications Manager will develop and implement a fundraising and communications strategy to contribute to the success and sustainability of AMP Health, an innovative cross-sector partnership which aims to increase access to life-saving health services for the world’s hardest to reach by enabling stronger leadership and management of community health worker systems by ministries of health in Sub-Saharan Africa. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of demonstrably elevating brand equity, building a coalition of engaged stakeholders, and contributing to resource mobilization. They will ideally demonstrate a commitment to global public health impact and excitement for helping to build an emerging high-profile program.
