Program Description:

The Aspen Institute Congressional Program is a nonpartisan neutral convener of world renown scholars and leaders and Republican and Democrat members of Congress to focus on the pressing foreign policy issues of our time and discuss, civilly debate, and develop policy solutions in private, off-the-record sessions conducted all over the world.

Basic Function:

The Finance and Grants Associate is responsible for overseeing financial management and budgetary tasks and responsibilities for the program. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience managing budgets, grant accounting, grant writing and reporting and proposals and other grant operations.

The Finance and Grants Associate will report directly to the Program Director. The hourly range for this part-time role is $30 - $33 /hr. with an expectation of 20 hours of work a week.

In accordance with the Aspen Institute’s Reimagining Work policy, the Finance and Grants Associate should be willing to be in-person with colleagues in the Washington, DC office a minimum of 40% of the time while having the flexibility to work remotely for the balance.
