Communications and Marketing Department

The Communications and Marketing Department creates a unified brand for the Institute by supporting, elevating, and amplifying the work of the programs and telling a cohesive and compelling story about the broader work of the Institute, its people, and its impact. The Communications and Marketing Department is a team of experts with deep experience supporting mission driven organizations.

Basic Function

We are seeking an experienced av coordinator to provide expedient and professional support to Institute meetings and events. This important role coordinates the daily on-site and hybrid AV & video needs of the organization.

The AV Coordinator role:

  • Facilitates and troubleshoots Zoom calls
  • Monitors and responds to AV Wrike requests
  • Sets up wireless microphones and PowerPoint presentations for events and meetings
  • Sets up and breaks down AV equipment for day-to-day events
  • Assists with managing livestreams in large conference rooms
  • Troubleshoots issues and provides support for Zoom rooms
  • Takes inventory of AV equipment when necessary (pre and post meetings and events)
  • Troubleshoots any on-going problems in meeting rooms during meetings and events
  • Supports AV team on general AV installs and troubleshooting
  • Participates in weekly meetings with Office Services and event organizers
  • Maintains superior relations with all staff
  • Assists with special projects as needed

  • Has at least 5 years of AV support experience
  • Has an interest in video production and editing
